Coosaw Farms is eagerly committed to the newly revised U.S. Country of Origin Labeling Requirements (COOL) and the Produce Traceability Initiative. From lot numbers on our bulk packaging that link us to our fields, the harvest date, our pack house and pack date, to product-level country of origin labeling and traceability, we are working hard to give you peace of mind in regard to a documented link from us, as your grower, to the received product in your DCs and ultimately in your homes. The following applies to the fresh Blueberries and Watermelon we proudly grow, harvest, and ship at Coosaw Farms.

Coosaw Farms Watermelons

(Red & Yellow Seedless, Red & Yellow Mini Seedless, Red Seeded)

Coosaw Farms' sole growing locations for its watermelon varieties include: Florida and South Carolina of the United States. We pack/ship all of our watermelon varieties from one packinghouse location in Fairfax, SC. The following applies with regard to COOL and traceability:

• Watermelon Bins contain the labeling, "Grown in the USA" and a lot number, linking packinghouse, grower, field, harvest date, and pack date to the bulk-packaged product.
• Watermelon Boxes (3 to 8 count cartons) contain the text, "Grown in the USA".
• Watermelon Labels (on-product label) contain the text, "Product of USA" and a unique HarvestMark® ID utilizing YottaMark® web-based technology for immediate, on-site traceability and marketing data from your home or office.
• Shipping Manifests (Bill of Lading) contain acknowledgement of growing/shipping location per item.
• Invoices contain growing location (US State) and lot number per item, providing a documented link from grower/growing location to your Purchase Order.

Coosaw Farms Blueberries

Coosaw Farms' sole growing, packing, and shipping location for its blueberries includes: South Carolina of the United States. The following applies with regard to COOL and traceability:

• Blueberry Flats contain the text, "Product of USA" and the "Certified SC Grown" logo.
• Clamshell containers are labeled with the text, "Product of USA", include the "Certified SC Grown" logo, and a unique HarvestMark® ID for web-based, on-site traceability data from your home or office.
• Shipping Manifests (Bill of Lading) contain acknowledgement of growing/shipping location per item.
• Invoices contain growing location (US State) and lot number per item, providing a documented link from grower/growing location to your Purchase Order.
